ifihlile Training Academy was established in July 2005 to address the need for skilled technicians within the air-conditioning, refrigeration and ventilation industry in South Africa; particularly among historically disadvanteged individuals (HDI's).

The Ifihlile Training Academy is accredited by the Manufacturing, Engineering and related services authority (MERSETA).Ifihlile Training Academy at Midrand has a fully accredited refrigeration mechanician trade test centre.
